Social Stencil: Online Small-Group Social Skills Program for Children

Psychologist-Led | Structured | Practical | Supportive | 18 Weeks

Social Stencil is an online, psychologist-led social skills program for children that builds real-world social understanding, emotional awareness, and peer interaction skills in a structured, engaging format. The program runs over 18 weeks and is delivered in small groups of fewer than 10 children to ensure each participant receives meaningful support and practice opportunities.

Sessions combine guided activities, modelling, discussion, and supported peer interaction to help children understand how social situations work, not just what to say, so they can participate more confidently at school, at home, and with friends.

Who Social Stencil Is For

Social Stencil is designed for primary school–aged children (typically around 8–12 years), with groups formed based on developmental and social stage.

It is suitable for children who may:

  • Find social situations confusing or overwhelming

  • Struggle to make or maintain friendships

  • Have autism or ADHD

  • Experience social anxiety

  • Misread social cues

  • Have difficulty with emotional regulation in peer settings

  • Need explicit teaching of social concepts

  • Benefit from structured social learning

What Makes Social Stencil Different

Social Stencil focuses on making social patterns visible and understandable. Many children are told to “be friendly” or “be flexible,” but are not shown what that looks like step-by-step. This program breaks social interaction into clear, learnable elements and provides guided practice in a supportive peer environment.

  • Led by a registered psychologist

  • 18-week structured curriculum

  • Small groups (fewer than 10 participants)
